Do I need to schedule a meeting to talk to a floral Designer about my Wedding?

Yes, everything starts with our meeting with you. We could not possibly capture your vision without spending some time with you. Our goal is to develop your vision, not sell you ours!

Do you offer floral packages?

Impossible to offer a package because no two Brides are alike, no two Weddings are alike. Everything we do is custom designed, unique as the circumstances being celebrated.

Can you email me pricing?

You can email a wish list and we can email back and forth different ideas, questions, and suggestions. When it comes to presenting final package, it is best done in person. Every wedding is unique and so is every proposal. They need to be presented and explained in detail to everyone’s satisfaction. We value the personal relationships we build with our clients. We spend time getting to know them and exploring their vision. It is our belief that when we present this to the couple it needs to be a dialogue that can not be replicated via email.

If the proposal total is more than my budget, can I eliminate some of the items listed?

The short answer is of course! The better answer is if we spend enough time exploring your vision and your budget, we should be able to present a plan that works for you. That said, as you plan your day if something unforeseen comes up that causes you to look for ways to cut, provided flowers have not yet been ordered, we will work with you. 

What flowers will be available for our wedding?

There is some seasonality, we would make you aware of restrictions during planning sessions and offer substitutions. Working together we will be able to bring your vision to life in line with seasonal variations.

Do you do anything other than flower design?

In addition to Floral Design, Cocco Buds can provide rental items such as vases, arches, chuppahs, columns, glass or metal containers or cylinders – virtually everything you would need for the décor at both the wedding site and the reception. Our selection is expansive and if we do not have it we will find it for you to either purchase or rent.

Can I provide my own vases?

Provided they are clean and table ready. We also request that you leave an extra one or two in the unforeseen event of breakage or unseen damages. This is also helpful if you need to add an extra table or two at the last minute. Please keep in mind if we have to “prepare” the vases for use because they were not clean or had labels on them or residue from past usage there will be a fee assessed.  

Do you charge for a “Sample Centerpiece?”

Yes, we charge our full retail price if you have not booked with Cocco Buds. If you book with us as a result of seeing your sample, we will discount the price of the sample by 30%. If you book first and then ask for samples, we will offer you the reduced rate from the beginning. Bear in mind that even though it is a “sample” the flowers still had to be purchased and the time had to be taken to create the design. That said, we realize we are helping you create the look for your special day, and nothing is more important than our brides being happy every step of the process. If we can arrange to show some samples while we are working on another weeding and have flowers available to work with, we will pass that savings on to you.  

Can you provide references?

Of course, besides this website and our Social Media pages we can provide multiple references from venues, brides, etc. 

Do you require a deposit to reserve the date?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit reserves the date. Please bear in mind that we provide our services on a first come first served basis. We limit the number of weddings and special occasions we book in order to maximize everyone’s personal experience. If you ask us to reserve a date for you in essence, we are removing our services for that date from anyone else.  

Do you charge a delivery fee for wedding and special events?

All fees will be outlined in the proposal: delivery, set up, removal, return of props etc. Fees are determined by amount of travel time, after hours, number of staff required, complexity of set up, etc. 

Do you deliver outside of the Tri-State Area? Do you do Destination Weddings?

We can travel but for a destination wedding the minimum floral order is $3,500 plus any overnight fees incurred plus $150 per employee per day.

Can I pay my bill when the flowers are delivered? When is Balance Due?

No, all Weddings, special events are custom events and need to be paid in full a minimum of two weeks prior to the event, preferably four. If this deadline is not met your flowers may not be ordered and your event could be removed from our calendar with your deposit forfeited.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, Venmo, Zelle or Money Order.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, as a legal NJ business, Cocco Buds is required by law to carry liability insurance covering any accidents or damages arising from the use of our products and or service.
